The teachers, mentors, coaches and leaders that have had the most impact in my life never told me what to look for.

They didn't try and give me formulas to make my life easier or strategies to live better.

What they did was point me into a direction that would reveal my own power, and because of that I was better able to pick out what I needed from a fundamentally genuine place.

Strategies are helpful. Techniques and tools are very useful. But the icing always goes on top of the cake.

The best way to help someone is to point them to a direction of their own infinite resource. They will see what they will see.

Because the truth is, each one of us has different insights about different things at different times, and those are the most sustainable insights to have.

When we point people to their own wisdom, and they see something through their own insight, it continues to blossom and deepen for them.

Just like a bud that keeps growing until it is a flower.
